Carl Nielsen
Carl Nielsen BA(Hons) has recently re-joined David Lay Auctions as the head of the Silver, Jewellery & Watches department and brings over 15 years of auction industry experience.
Carl studied Fine Art at Falmouth College of Art and started his career in 2006 at Bonhams Bath, then progressed further by moving to Gardiner Houlgate in Corsham.
Relocating back to Cornwall, Carl joined David Lays as an auctioneer before running a saleroom in Truro for eight years. Carl is delighted to be back at David Lay Auctions.
As well as a Silver & Jewellery specialist Carl is an experienced general valuer of antiques and fine art and enjoys travelling to clients properties for valuations. He is currently training for his RICS accreditation.
