David’s extensive knowledge enabled him to immediately spot this gem of a work by John Wells hidden in a cupboard whilst doing a routine probate valuation. We sold it for £26,000.
We also sold a small maquette for a much larger work by Dame Barbara Hepworth for £60,000.
