This VC entitlement group to Pt Thomas Byrne was a prime example. Lengthy research lead to a letter of authenticity from the curator of Lord Ashcroft’s VC collection and resulted in the group sold for £40,000.
Highlights from recent sales include this Hong Kong stamp collection and set of 18th century Dockyard plans by Thomas Milton. The stamp collection totalled over £37,000 and the plans sold for £10,000.
