Valuation and Identification. We offer a free valuation and identification service for all types of antiques, paintings, books, collectors items and house contents for selling by auction. It will be supplied by Cornwall’s largest auction house, by experienced, qualified Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors valuers in antiques and fine art and experienced specialists in books and collectors items.
Free Valuations at the Saleroom. Any week-day morning between 10.00 – 12.00am. (except on auction days)
Free Specialist Valuations at the Saleroom. Collectables including: Toys, dolls, postcards, stamps, medals, militaria and coins. David Taylor every Wednesday between 10.00am - 12.00am. Books, documents, maps, photographs. John Floyd every Friday between 10.00am - 12.00am (except on auction days)

Home Visits For larger items or quantities of items, a home visit by a valuer can be arranged through our office.
Complete House Clearance Service. We provide the professional service for the removal of home contents for sale by auction. This includes inspection and valuation, packing and carriage and a rigorous and careful sorting and identification procedure which ensures items of value are not overlooked. This service gives access to 28 general and specialist and fully catalogued auctions each year. Our aim is to optimise the potential value of all house clearances. A free inspection and valuation of full home contents is available through an appointment arranged with our office.
Insurance and Probate Valuations. Our valuations for insurance and probate purposes are supported by a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors qualification that is recognised by solicitors and all major insurance companies. It is an assurance of expertise, experience and market knowledge. With this service, you receive a written valuation from a qualified valuer. A fee is charged for this service.
