Dear David,

I`d just like to say thank you for the way you presented my owl and pottery figure for sale. It was nice to get the catalogue in advance, and to see such a good picture of the owl. You really did it justice! 

I expect you realised that I was a little sad to sell the things, so it was good to see how well the owl was received. You did such a super job in the sale, and I`m very grateful to you for getting a high price.

I didn`t read the catalogue carefully enough, and thought the pottery figure was being sold today, so I missed that excitement! But I`ll look forward to finding out how it did in the near future.

I had never attended a proper auction sale before, and was amazed at the amount of lovely things for sale, and the speed of the bidding. You must have been exhausted by the end of the sale today!
